Evernote is really awesome. It helps me everyday. There’s no problem with this app, also it’s very easy to use. Download now!
Evernote is a great application for storing and snipping notes but not for creating or editing them. The editor is a mess, there’s no way to add a picture to the note for example. The only thing that keeps me using it is a great web browser clipper. Otherwise I’d be sailing other seas.
This version seems to strip all web links from the notes.
Please add native gestures to notes in list. Like swipe to left/right to e.g. delete note
Please add string and row select in tables
Just copiend code from Xcode to note and Evernote preserves Xcode font and highlightings! Awesome!
Thanks for qick switching! Amazing feature
So I’ve got an e-mail that in 30 days I have to use only 2 devices. I have nothing against paid services (and I had 2 years of premium) but this attitude is kicking me off. I wish you will go out of business pretty soon.
Ok Evernote, I liked you as free service, I do not use you too much and do not need any premium services from your side. Speed of work not always was perfect, interface became more and more complicated and not so friendly as it was before. And I still use you as service for my notes. But you decided to limit my usage by number of my devices (2 devices, oh I have Macbook, Iphone and iPad it is already 3), so it is your choise, my choise for now is MS OneNote. Newer ever like MS products on Mac devices, but it time for changes I believe.
Are you kidding?
This app is designed to answer to the needs of anyone who desires - simply put - a neat, organised, easy to use notebook. I have been using evernote since I started my BA and am now using it at work and in throughout my MA. Evernote is great, as it will allow you to keep track of every note you may write down, share it within a study group, or with work colleagues. If you download it on you smartphone even better, you will be able to add, edit and send picutres from everywhere. People are sometimes scared about these products cause they may be confusing uncompatible with other peoples’ app etc. Evernote is nothing like that. It really seems it has been designed for you; it is simply to use, very intuitive and as clear as it can get. My only suggestion: download it, its free!!
I have a PRO version! I have a lot of notes, and now I cannot go back to some other app. The huge problem is that notes are not searchable by Spotlight!! This problem has remained unsolved for years! Check on the web if you dont believe me. I suggest you to carefully consider to start keeping notes with Evernote.
Indeed essential! The idea is really simple, the flexibility and potential immense. Thank you!
In the latest mac osx version you can not open the pdf files in the tables. Page suddenly start flowing. Please fix the problem!
If you decide to give this a try, be patient. I upgraded to the ‘plus’ version. I couldn’t get an email to register with the software. After searching for a couple of days. I stumbled onto the solution in Google. I sent an email to support a couple of days ago. I’m sure they’ll contact me soon. But, now that it is working, I love it.
On your list of updates, one of the first things is: Evernote will now launch automatically when your computer starts. You can change this in preferences…. You should be telling us that it CAN LAUNCH AUTOMATICALLY not that it will. Give us the potential not force the potential.
I love Evernote and use it everyday to work and personal use. But one thing that I always missed was the option to open my notes in different tabs, which would my life much easier. When Apple announced that Sierra would support tabs in a system level I was very excited because FINALLY Evernote would add this option. So when I updated my app to the newest version, that is made specifically for Sierra, I was really waiting for tab support. And apparently I’ll keep waiting because this is nowhere to be found. As I said, I love Evernote and I’ll continue to use the service because it’s the best in the business, but the Evernote team really need to add tabs. It’s a simple thing, but it’s going to be extremely useful and make the whole user experience much better.
I was enjoying the use of Evernote to organize my life… even paid for it for two years to have the exta bells and whistles… Then I lost my job and cut all my renewable contracts. Then Evernote changes it so that if you don’t pay them, then you can only use it on two devices. Crippled by stupidity, I say. KTHXBUBYE!
Over the years I’ve used multiple paper and digital devices for note taking and keeping track of ideas. I have stacks of paper notebooks full of ideas and writing projects that sit in boxes or on book shelves, unsearchable. I’ve forgotten what’s in them because it’s too hard to keep track of. Evernote has been the best solution. I never lose notes when changing devices, or losing devices, or when a phone or computer crashes. I can make quick notes on my smartphone than expand or organize them on my laptop. I never fear of losing an idea or notebook. Evernote is the best supporting tool for writers. I use it along with Scribner. Now all my notebooks are with me in the cloud and I’ve never lost an idea since. Using Evernote is the best decision I made as a writer. I know you will be glad you began using Evernote too.
