Your product was great when it was the only game in town and it was free. Now it’s neither and it’s going to go bye-bye.

I am premium user. You updated the price higher, which I can live with. Now, an update that I have been waiting for a long time : cloud access to documents. But with Google drive only? No dropbox, no Icloud, no one drive…. ???? Very disappointing… Get with the times!!

This used to be the go-to app for synching notes, clips, and media. But now they’re demanding users pay up for mutl-device usage, people are fleeing and looking for better options.

This really is a great app but I am just a casual user. I was using it to connect my iPad to my iPhone to my Desktip to my laptop. But I may only use it 1 time a month. So though it will be great for many people I will have to find a new app. Please keep me in the loop if you come up with a less expensive alternative.

I’ve been an Evernote user for a long time. A lot of my life is stored in there. Love the sorting and searching. Lots of taxonimy here with notes, notebooks and tags, along with sorting options. There is a lot outside of the individual notes, but within them, there’s room for improvement – especially for power users. Some other note taking apps have Quick Styles (titles, headings, body, lists). These affect everything from the text size to formatting (bold, italics, underlines, highlights), to color, fonts, space after elements. This brings uniformity of language across all your notes. You can visually scan all elements to quickly get at just the information you’re looking for. Maybe quotes are always indented, 15pt, italisized. You could have a Quick Style for that. I’d love if I could quickly format notes so they don’t look like a wall of text, and without having to “design” individual elements myself. Evernote is still my note taking app of choice. Love the Scannable integration and the iOS clients. Love having access on the web and being able to password protect my notes. The service is very reliable. If anything, I want more Evernote. With a few formatting additions, I’d love to use this for all my document writing (and replace Google Docs).

Bought this app in 2013 and have been using it on 2 computers, a phone, and a tablet ever since. Today I got a message that I had to upgrade to a paid subscription in order to keep using it on all my devices (this was not previously a requirement). While I like the app, I don’t use it enough to justify paying $4 a month for it, so bye bye Evernote.

The latest version has created a number of small little bugs and various issues. This is one of my favurite apps so I thuoght I would let you know.

OS１０．１２で上記件名。不便である。One noteの使い勝手はどうなのだろう。プレミアムでお金を払う意味があるのか検討必要。

アップデート直後からインデントの不具合が発生しました。 command + shift + [ のショートカットやbackspaceでインデントの介助ができなくなりました。

Over the years, Evernote has grown into an app for everything. Those of us who got it for note taking in the first place are looking for lighter alternatives now. Furthermore, all the bells and whistles has put some of the app’s organizational features out of reach.

I have latest version and I can not open Evernote now.

The new version of Evernote is even faster, no annoying bugs and as helpful as before for organising your daily business. I can not think a Mac without this program; it is so full and complete. Seamless iPhone integration, full options on reminders amd sharing. Thanks for being there!

I have been using it for couple of months now, easily I can say it is best note taking, organiser application. Really glad to use it.

I would be happier if it was possible to create subfolders for the notebooks and chapters… But anyhow I love writing and collecting information on evernote.

Works good, but sometimes program crashes.

Its so much better, but navigation between Notebooks and their notes is awful, counterintuituve and quite frustrating since its a roadblock on my way to get things done!

After update app freezes every 2-3 minutes, for few minutes. Nothing can be done, I have to wait or foce close the app. Looking for alternative, Evernote become usless wiht that feeezing isssue.

I use Evernote for two years and latest Mac update is a disaster for me. If only there would be an alternative applicaiton, I would get rid of Evernote. Its all about the new user interface, which is supposed to "clean", but what is actually does is that many very useful features have been removed and it taks now much more time to do same job with Evernote. Customized menu (which application doesnt have it?) is gone, now you have to use right-click (yes! this is Mac, not PC!) to access context menus and select options from there. Why Evernote removed the menu? No clue. Even moving around Notebooks is more difficult now, the "collapse" triange on the right of a Notebook is so small, and you have click on it precisely to un-collpase it and see all nested Notebboks. Why they made it sooo difficult? I understand the "Steve Jobs - minimalistic desgn" principle, I understand that too many features makes applications unusable, but what Evernote did is over-simplification at the cost of my productivity. Did they even test it with real users? If they did, Evernote doesnt seem to bother about user feedback. June 2013 update: is this a joke? Apple Design Award 2013? If not caring for users means "design", then this is well deserved. One of the recent small updates removed horizontal view of notes list and replaced it with column view, which is AWFUL and NOT USEFUL. Evernote now has several fancy views (snipped view, expanded card view), but none of them is usefull unless you use Evernote to keep pictures, not text. Is Evernote becoming Picassa or something? I want horizontal list of notes back! I want to see my tags, and other columns of my choice!

Syncing is terrible or better to say doesn’t work if your notes include pictures. Because of that this app is useless. Fix it otherwise it’s just waste of money.
